MEET THE TEAM

With over 20 years’ experience in sports Physiotherapy, half of them spent at the highest professional level, Simon Harland is one of Ireland’s most respected and highly regarded sports Physiotherapy specialists.

Ronan has extensive experience as a sports physiotherapist. With a background in several sports, Ronan brings a high level of expertise and skill to his role, striving to go the extra mile to get you better.

Naomi has over 6 years experience as a physiotherapist, with extensive skills in clinical practice and high level sport. Her genuine passion and enthusiasm for Sports Medicine has helped develop her knowledge and skills in managing musculoskeletal and sporting injuries during this time.

Mark graduated from the University of Otago, New Zealand and has since gained extensive international clinical experience across a variety of public and private health systems.

Neil graduated from Ulster University in 2019 and since then has gained valuable experience across a wide variety of areas including musculoskeletal outpatients along with previous experience in private practice. Neil has a real skill in dealing with sporting injuries & a passion for working with athletes to help them perform at the their best. Neil has played various sports growing up but had a special interest in golf, representing Ireland and being National Youth Champion and Inter-varsity champion. Neil is registered with the HCPC and a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy

Niall graduated from Ulster University in 2023 and has since completed a Masters in Sports and Exercise Medicine. With previous work in private practice along with working with numerous sports teams,  Niall has gained valuable experience and a well established skill set. Niall has a passion for helping athletes return from injury as the best version of themselves, and is currently Physiotherapist for Fermanagh LGA and Enniskillen Rugby Club.   Niall is also a keen sportsman playing a mix of sports, but eventually settled on Rugby, playing currently for Enniskillen and recently representing Ulster Juniors in 2024. 

Declan O’Donnell is a highly skilled Sports Physiotherapist with a MSc in Physiotherapy (Distinction) from Edinburgh Napier University and a BSc (Hons) in Sports Rehabilitation & Athletic Therapy. Declan has extensive experience in elite sport & musculoskeletal rehabilitation, currently as head physio with Glentoran FC and past experience with Ulster Rugby, Armagh GAA & Down GAA. This is coupled with previous experience within private practice, NHS and HSE settings. He is passionate about evidence-based rehabilitation, he specialises in injury prevention, strength & conditioning, and return-to-play protocols. Declan takes a patient-centred approach, tailoring treatment plans to help individuals—from athletes to the general public—recover, regain strength, and perform at their best. His expertise in manual therapy, exercise prescription, and rehabilitation programming ensures optimal outcomes for every client. Whether you’re recovering from an injury or looking to improve performance, Declan provides expert guidance and hands-on care to help you achieve your goals.

Phillip graduated with 1st Class Honors in BSc Sport and Exercise Science from Ulster University and has a diverse background in rugby, hockey, GAA and athletics. Encompassing his variety of experiences, the focus of Phillip’s coaching remains consistent.

Zoe is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and Strength and Conditioning Coach with a strong interest in musculoskeletal and sports injury rehabilitation. She graduated with First Class Honours from the University of South Australia and is also a qualified Clinical Pilates instructor through Australian Physiotherapy Pilates Institute. Zoe has worked with clients across a range of sports, including running, football, and netball, with a particular focus on athletic development, strength training for runners, and injury rehabilitation. Her passion for movement began at a young age through dance and long-distance running, and this continues to drive her client centred approach. She enjoys supporting people of all ages and abilities to move well and feel strong. Zoe is committed to creating personalised, evidence-based exercise programs that empower each individual to achieve their goals—no matter what the starting point.

Dr. Darren Devaney is Sport & Exercise Psychologist with significant professional experience. He studied for a BSc Psychology at Queens University of Belfast, before completing an MSc and PhD in Sport Psychology at Liverpool John Moore’s University. He is HCPC registered and is a Chartered Psychologist and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. Darren is also completing training as an ISTDP Psychotherapist. Darren’s has experience in Professional cricket, football and Rugby, at both club and International level. He has worked in GAA at club and Inter-County level and worked individually with athletes and coaches across a wide range of team and individual sports. Darren has a passion for human performance, wellbeing and making psychological support accessible and applicable to his client's real-world settings. Darren’s combines training in Sport psychology and ISTDP Psychotherapy to offer a highly impactful service for both athletes and non-athletes, to help clients achieve their goals and improve their lives.

Dr. Lisa O’Halloran is a Sport Psychologist with 8 years’ experience working in elite sport at youth and senior levels. Lisa completed her BSc Applied Psychology with Sport Science and MSc Sport Psychology at Liverpool John Moores University. Lisa was awarded her PhD from Liverpool John Moores University where she investigated the lived experience of 'critical moments' and identity development in elite Premier League Academy football. Lisa is a CASES Accredited Sport and Exercise Scientist and a HCPC registered Practitioner Psychologist. Lisa has worked as the Sport Psychologist for the First Team and Under-21s at Coventry City Football Club, as well as for Team GB and Northern Ireland Transplant Sport. She has provided one-to-one consultancy support to athletes competing at levels ranging from international to recreational, across a wide range of team and individual sports. Lisa has worked as a Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Psychology at Coventry University and as a Senior Lecturer at Nottingham Trent University. Lisa has a passion for high performance, athlete wellbeing, and providing bespoke psychological support to individuals during critical moments and career transitions.

Mark is our performance nutritionist who has worked with elite and recreational athletes of all ages and across a range of sports, including professional rugby, athletics, and ice hockey. He holds PhD and MSc qualifications in the areas of nutrition and endurance physiology from Loughborough and Liverpool John Moores Universities. Mark’s nutritional philosophy is to promote lasting behaviour change by making incremental improvements, and he will gradually equip his clients with the knowledge and understanding they need to make suitable adjustments to their own dietary habits in the face of changing training and performance goals. Mark is a keen golfer and cyclist and enjoys immersing himself in any sport, but is at his best when supporting athletes far more talented and committed than himself!
