Shane Dunne

Shane graduated from Northumbria University, Newcastle Upon Tyne, in 2017. He began his career working in the NHS where he gained valuable experience across a wide variety of settings including orthopaedics and musculoskeletal outpatients which enabled him to pursue a clinical specialist post in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy.

Since then he has gained further experience in both private practice and in the sporting environment where he has worked with a number of teams including Morpeth RFC, UUJ Senior Hurlers and St Brigids GAC Hurlers. This experience has provided him with an array of skills which allow him to comprehensively assess, treat and rehabilitate a range of musculoskeletal conditions and sporting injuries.

Shane has a real passion for sports medicine and his ongoing CPD in this area allows for complete athlete care. He is registered with the HCPC and is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and Physios in Sport UK.

Ronan is a fantastic physio, who I have been lucky enough to work with at a number of major championships with Team NI, as well as privately. He is meticulous in his assessment, reassuring when discussing injury and treatment plans and has brilliant hands on treatment.
